Theme: Seva Se Samman Tak — Empowering Girls with Courage, Confidence & Safety
Introduction: When Courage Becomes the Strongest Weapon
Every girl has the right to live without fear — to walk freely, to study peacefully, and to grow confidently.
With this powerful belief, the Ekakivedam Foundation, under its Mahashakti Movement, organized a Self-Defence Camp for Girls, aimed at teaching practical protection skills and emotional strength.
Guided by Dr. Komal (Shivpriya Ji), this initiative helped young girls understand that self-protection is not aggression — it’s awareness, alertness, and strength.

Objective of the Camp
In a world where girls often face unsafe situations or unwanted attention, self-defence is not a choice — it’s a necessity.
The camp was designed to:
Teach girls physical defence techniques for real-life safety.
Build mental strength, alertness, and quick reaction.
Help girls handle uncomfortable or unsafe physical contact confidently.
Make them emotionally fearless and aware of their surroundings.
Break fear, build inner power — the Shakti within.
The Camp: Learning to Fight Fear, Not People
The Mahashakti Self-Defence Camp brought together professional self-defence trainers and safety experts to train young girls in easy, practical, and effective techniques.
The sessions covered:
Basic Self-Defence Moves – using hands, elbows, and knees for quick response.
How to React in Unsafe Situations – when someone tries to touch inappropriately or behave wrongly.
Awareness of Danger Signs – identifying unsafe environments or manipulative people.
Use of Voice & Confidence – shouting “No” or “Help” strongly to attract attention.
Escaping Grabs or Holds – simple physical moves to release oneself safely.
The trainers explained that strength doesn’t lie only in the body, but in awareness and confidence.
“Don’t freeze in fear.
Remember — your courage is your first defence.”
The camp created a safe, open environment where girls shared experiences and learned how to handle real-life scenarios without panic.
Guidance from Dr. Komal (Shivpriya Ji)
During the camp, Dr. Komal (Shivpriya Ji) interacted personally with the girls, explaining the importance of emotional balance and alertness along with physical safety.
She shared that:
“Self-defence is not just learning to hit — it’s learning to stand strong.
When a girl believes she can protect herself, no fear can overpower her.”
She encouraged the girls to stay strong, walk with confidence, and never tolerate wrong behaviour silently.
Creating Awareness & Confidence
The Ekakivedam volunteers explained that awareness is the first step of protection.
Girls were educated about personal boundaries, good touch and bad touch, and how to seek help from teachers, family, or police without hesitation.
They were also reminded that bravery is not violence — it’s wisdom and calmness in crisis.
Through real-life demonstrations, interactive games, and team exercises, the camp helped participants learn not just how to defend themselves, but how to carry themselves with courage and grace.
Impact of the Self-Defence Camp
Over 200+ girls actively participated in the camp.
Girls learned physical defence skills and built emotional strength.
Parents and teachers appreciated the foundation for addressing safety with empathy and education.
Many girls expressed newfound confidence to walk, travel, and study without fear.
The event became more than a training session — it became a movement of empowerment.
The Essence of Mahashakti Movement
The Mahashakti Movement by Ekakivedam Foundation continues to awaken the divine strength (Shakti) in every woman.
Whether it’s health, education, or safety — the goal remains the same: to help every woman rise from fear to freedom, from silence to strength.
“When a girl learns to defend herself, she not only protects her body —
she protects her dignity, her dreams, and her future.”
Conclusion: Seva Through Strength
This self-defence initiative reflected the true spirit of the Mahashakti Movement — service with empowerment.
It taught every participant that her safety lies first in her awareness, and her courage is her greatest armour.
Through such drives, Ekakivedam Foundation continues to create a society where every girl stands strong — aware, safe, and full of Samman (dignity).
“You are your own Shakti — your protector, your power, your peace.”
